Boat Capsized In Krishna River In Andhra Pradesh | Atleast 19 Dead

A boat overloaded with tourists capsized in the Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday evening, resulting in the death of at least 19 people, the police said. The accident took place near Vijayawada, 275 km from Hyderabad, at 5.45 pm. There were 38 people were on the boat, news agency PTI reported, which belonged to a private tourism company. The incident took place when the boat set off for Pavitra Sangamam at Ferry village near Vijayawada from Bhavani Island, the police said. Fifteen people were rescued by local fishermen. Police said the boat did not have a licence to operate. One of the rescued persons said there were no life jackets on board. The boatman, who is among the survivors, said no life jackets are needed on this stretch. Two teams of the National Disaster Response Force, each with 30 members, were called into service to search for the survivors, a senior police officer said. India beat Australia by 7 wickets in the 5th ODI  clash in Nagpur on Sunday to make 5 match series 4-1. Rohit Sharma scored his 14th ODI Century and completed  6000 runs. Axar Patel was the best bowler for the hosts with 3 wickets. India started well with Ajinkya Rahane scored 61 runs and Rohit Sharma scored 125 runs. The opening partnership for this duo was 124 runs. India scored 243 runs in 42.5 overs.

Australia scored 242 runs losing 9 wickets. Among Australian players, David Warner scored a half-century and Marcus Stoinis scored 46 runs and Travis scored 42 runs. Remaining players didn't contribute well for the team. Adam Zampa bowled well and took 2 wickets but his efforts gone in vain.

Honeypreet Insan, Ram Rahim's daughter arrested

Honeypreet Insan , the "adopted daughter" of self-declared guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, was arrested today after being hunted for over a month by the police. The 36-year-old was arrested on the highway near Chandigarh along with another woman. Ram Rahim's closest aide, who calls herself "Papa's Angel", had been missing since she was seen escorting him in a special chopper to a jail in Rohtak on August 25, when the Dera Sacha Sauda chief was declared guilty of raping two followers.
